SourceLink Privacy Policy
SourceLink Technologies LLC
Last Updated: April 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SourceLink Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("SourceLink," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes personal information through the SourceLink website, platform, software, tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION
1.1 What This Privacy Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Service, including our public website, account registration and login flows, supplier profiles and Listings, buyer inquiries and request-for-quote features, payment and subscription features, support channels, trust and safety tools, and related marketplace functionality.
1.2 Who This Privacy Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the Service, account holders, Buyers, Suppliers, business representatives, support contacts, and other individuals whose personal information we collect in connection with the Service. The Service is intended for business and commercial use.
1.3 SourceLink's Role
SourceLink generally determines the purposes and means of processing the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. Because the Service is a marketplace, other users may independently determine how they use information shared with them through the Service, and their handling of that information is governed by their own practices, not this Privacy Policy.
1.4 Third-Party Services and External Sites
This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites, applications, or services operated by third parties, including payment processors, authentication providers, analytics providers, or other linked services, except to the extent we expressly describe our own collection or disclosure practices relating to them. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own privacy notices and terms.
1.5 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Service, through your account, by email, or by other reasonable means. The revised version will be effective as of the stated Last Updated date.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including your name, business name, work email address, phone number, job title, account credentials, billing contact information, communications with us, support requests, and any information you choose to include in forms, messages, or account settings.
2.2 Listing, Profile, and Marketplace Information
If you create or manage a Listing or other profile on the Service, we may collect business profile information, capability descriptions, certifications, portfolio materials, logos, images, contact details, inquiry content, quote-request information, reviews, ratings, and other content associated with your participation in the marketplace.
2.3 Payment and Subscription Information
If you purchase a paid feature, subscription, premium Listing, or other paid offering, we may collect billing contact details, subscription selections, payment status, transaction history, invoicing information, and other payment-related metadata. Payment card and similar financial information may be collected and processed directly by our Payment Processor rather than by SourceLink.
2.4 Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use the Service, we may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, pages viewed, feature usage, timestamps, log data, session data, and other technical or usage information associated with your interaction with the Service.
2.5 Information We Receive from Other Sources
We may receive personal information from third parties or other sources, including authentication providers, payment processors, analytics providers, security and anti-abuse vendors, other users, public sources, or business partners, to the extent necessary to operate the Service, verify accounts, process payments, investigate complaints, protect the Service, or comply with law.
2.6 Public Content and Sensitive Materials
Some information you submit through the Service, such as Listings, profile content, reviews, ratings, and certain communications or marketplace-facing content, may be visible to other users or to the public depending on the feature and settings used. You must not upload confidential, export-controlled, ITAR- or EAR-controlled, restricted, or otherwise sensitive materials to any area of the Service. If we later offer features designed for restricted technical files or other non-public materials, those features may be governed by additional terms or notices.
3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use personal information to operate, administer, maintain, and support the Service, including account creation, authentication, Listings, search and discovery features, messaging, request-for-quote tools, payment-related features, and other marketplace functionality.
3.2 Manage Accounts and Communications
We use personal information to create and manage accounts, communicate with users, respond to inquiries, provide customer support, send service-related notices, and facilitate communications among users through the Service.
3.3 Administer Listings and Marketplace Features
We use personal information to publish and manage Listings and profiles, display trust and discovery signals, support reviews and ratings, promote a Supplier's presence on the Service, and otherwise administer participation in the marketplace.
3.4 Process Billing and Paid Features
We use personal information to set up and administer subscriptions and other paid features, process or facilitate payments, maintain billing records, detect payment issues, and communicate about invoices, renewals, failed charges, and related matters.
3.5 Security, Integrity, and Abuse Prevention
We use personal information to authenticate users, detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service and other policies, protect the Service and our users, investigate suspicious or abusive conduct, respond to complaints, and maintain the integrity, safety, and reliability of the Service.
3.6 Analytics and Improvement
We use personal information and usage data to understand how the Service is used, analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, improve existing features, develop new features, and support internal reporting and business operations.
3.7 Legal, Tax, and Compliance Purposes
We use personal information to comply with applicable law, legal process, tax and accounting obligations, recordkeeping requirements, intellectual property claims, dispute handling, export and sanctions screening, and other lawful compliance needs.
3.8 Corporate Transactions and Business Operations
We may use personal information in connection with financing, diligence, restructuring, merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar business activity, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal obligations.
4. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION
4.1 Other Users and Public Visibility
Because the Service is a marketplace, we may disclose personal information to other users where necessary to enable Listings, supplier discovery, buyer inquiries, communications, request-for-quote flows, reviews, ratings, and related marketplace functionality. Some Listing, profile, review, and marketplace-facing content may also be visible to the public.
4.2 Service Providers
We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate the Service, such as authentication providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, database and storage providers, analytics providers, communications vendors, security and fraud-prevention vendors, customer-support tools, and similar vendors acting on our behalf.
4.3 Payment Processors and Financial Tools
We may disclose personal information to payment processors and related financial-service providers in connection with subscriptions, paid features, payment setup, billing administration, fraud prevention, tax reporting, or other payment-related functionality. Those providers may process your information under their own privacy notices and terms.
4.4 Legal and Protective Disclosures
We may disclose personal information when we believe doing so is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights, property, or safety of SourceLink, our users, or others, enforce our agreements and policies, investigate suspected misconduct, or preserve or defend legal claims.
4.5 Business Transfers
We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law and customary confidentiality protections.
4.6 Aggregated and De-identified Information
We may use, disclose, and retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information that does not reasonably identify you, provided that we do so in accordance with applicable law. SourceLink does not sell, license, or otherwise provide personal information to data brokers, list aggregators, or similar commercial data intermediaries.
5. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
5.1 How We Use These Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, log files, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, measure performance, understand usage, prevent abuse, and support related platform operations.
5.2 Analytics and Security Tools
The Service may use analytics and security tools, including tools such as PostHog for product analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention and security verification, together with other vendors that support authentication, payment processing, infrastructure, and platform operations. Our specific service-provider stack may change over time as the Service evolves. PostHog may collect usage and behavioral data associated with your interaction with the Service for the purpose of product analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile may collect device, browser, and interaction signals for the purpose of verifying that interactions with the Service originate from human users rather than automated systems. These tools are used by SourceLink to support analytics, security, and related platform operations.
5.3 Cookie and Browser Controls
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings. If you disable or block certain cookies or similar technologies, some features of the Service may not function properly. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we may update our practices in response to evolving regulations.
6. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 Service Communications
We may send you service-related communications, including account notices, billing notices, security alerts, policy updates, and marketplace or support communications that are necessary to operate the Service or manage your relationship with us.
6.2 Marketing Preferences
We may send marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, you may still receive transactional or service-related communications.
7. SALE, TARGETED ADVERTISING, AND SIMILAR PRACTICES
7.1 Current Practice
Based on our current operations as of the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy, SourceLink does not sell personal information and does not use the Service to provide third-party cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
7.2 Rights Under Applicable Law
Depending on your location and the law that applies to your request, you may have the right to ask whether we process personal information for sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling activities and to exercise any available opt-out rights. SourceLink will evaluate such requests in light of applicable law and our actual practices.
7.3 No Sale of Personal Information
As stated in Section 7.1, SourceLink does not currently sell personal information. You do not need to submit an opt-out request to exercise this protection.
8. DATA RETENTION
8.1 Retention Criteria
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain accounts, operate the marketplace, support Listings and communications, process billing, secure the Service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business and technical records.
8.2 Deletion, Backup, and Archival Copies
When deletion is appropriate, we may delete, deidentify, aggregate, or otherwise render information non-identifiable, except that backup copies, archived records, legal-hold materials, security logs, and similar records may be retained for longer as permitted or required by law.
9. SECURITY
9.1 Security Measures
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information and the Service. These measures may include access controls, authentication tools, monitoring, vendor management, and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service and the information we process.
9.2 No Absolute Security
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
9.3 Security Incidents
In the event of a breach of the security of personal information that is required by applicable law to be reported, SourceLink will notify affected individuals and, where required, applicable regulatory authorities, in the manner and within the timeframes required by law. If you believe your account or personal information has been compromised, notify us promptly at support@sourcelinkapp.com.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
10.1 Adult Business Service
The Service is intended for adults and for business use. We do not knowingly direct the Service to children or knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by law, we may take appropriate steps to delete or restrict that information.
11. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND REQUESTS
11.1 Requests Regarding Personal Information
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to certain personal information we maintain about you, request correction of inaccurate personal information, request deletion of certain personal information, request a portable copy of certain personal information, or object to or opt out of certain processing activities. To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 13.
11.2 Verification and Limits
Before responding to a request, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. We may deny, limit, or decline a request where permitted by law, where we cannot verify the request, where the requested information relates to another person, or where retention is necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
11.3 Appeals and Follow-Up
If we deny a privacy request and you believe you have the right to appeal under applicable law, you may submit a written appeal to the contact information in Section 13 requesting reconsideration. If applicable law provides a further regulatory complaint mechanism, you may also pursue that option.
